Eli movie review is unlike the movie is void of clichés and banalities that may pique the readers interest
Eli was directed by Ciaran Foy and written by writers David Chirchirillo, Ian Goldberg, Richard Niang. Stars actors like Charlie Shotwell, Kelly Reilly, Max Martini.
It’s a movie about a boy who has a rare immune disorder that makes it impossible for him to be outdoors. When he seeks treatment he starts to see things. This is not just the synopsis of the movie, but the whole Eli movie review.
Because nothing really happens apart from the unapologetically set number of cliche sequences and horror movie tropes that are all stolen from other movies.
It feels very much like a few guys getting together and making a movie based on what they liked before, with each adding their favorite part only. And those pieces do not even make sense for the most part in Eli 2019.
Eli Movie Review
If you are a fan of horror movie genres, then you are definitely going to feel like you watched Eli Netflix before. The movie is filled with banal jump scares and haunted house tropes. Worst of all, they are not even that intense. You see them coming from a mile away. And that makes it a dull and boring cinematic experience, one that you wouldn’t even want to tell anyone about.
Eli movie review was like the hardest thing on my list of movie reviews to do. Because there was nothing to write about. It is not fun to write a review on a movie that is so unoriginal and confusing.
The only positive Eli movie review can have is that its ending is kind of unexpected. It is not a spoiler, don’t worry. Yet, I doubt you would want to watch the film after such an Eli movie review.
I still don’t understand why people keep searching for Eli movie review or reviews on this movie when all of them are negative. It is one of the other anomalies that I never get to understand next to Donald Trump becoming a president 😉😂.
On the one hand, I want to believe Eli Netflix is a kids movie, but it’s rated R for its blood and gore and gross scenes. That also makes no sense to have a kid star in your adult-rated movie.
To Sum It Up
Eli 2019 is full of character tropes and cliches and repetitive tone and annoying. But its last 15 minutes is like a restaurant giving you a free meal because they messed up your dinner.
It works, it’s twisty and unexpected, but it comes way too late. After they have already ruined the whole viewing experience.
In this Eli movie review, I give it 5 out of ten and this is only for the last 15 minutes of watch time.
