Knock Knock Movie Review is something I personally was looking for as I am big fan of the Keanu Guy.
This review is not going to be like others. Because this will be short, honest and straight-forward writing as it is.
Eli Roth directed and wrote this movie “Knock, Knock” which features stars like Keanu Reeves, Lorenza Izzo, Ana de Armas. It centers around a devoted father who is alone on a weekend to work.
Evan Weber(Keanu Reeves) is a successful architect and a happy father with a beautiful wife. One evening when he is working from home, he gets visitors. A sodden wet, and spicy hot young women, Bel (Ana de Armas) and Genesis (Lorenza Izzo) who are not in fact normal visitors.
Before the Knock Knock Movie review, when I first watched. I thought this movie was built on the premise of: bring two hot women plus Keanu and everyone is going to love it. Although it actually is kind of like that and quite a bit more soft porn-ish than a thriller, it has one heck of a good ending to pay for all the mistakes.
Knock Knock is full of inconsistencies. Even the very fact that they build up the character as loyal and happy, yet make him fall for two outsiders for a one-time deal? It seems like it had to happen from the plot point more than the character arcs.
Of course, this is the whole idea that no matter how happy you are, you won’t say no to free pizza. This moral context I get, but I don’t get the fact that why would you want to build the character as someone who would not say yes to free pizza yet have him say it.
Not only that it is something that two genders would interpret is vastly different. Men would think Keanu had no choice, while women would state otherwise. I personally leave it at that without discussing it any further.
Knock Knock Movie Review
In short, this is a vastly different movie than what Eli Roth usually makes. Because he is popular for horror movies with a lot of blood and gore. This on the other hand had none, but still scare you just enough.
Despite my deep respect and appreciation toward Keanu Reeves. Any amateur could have played his role as well as he did. It was one of his worst acts. Although he is not one of the thespian types. He is quite an action star.
That leads me to believe that he probably was there just for the sake of being there. Perhaps he was dragged into the scenes against his will. You might say, How dare you say such a thing against Keanu. But this is an honest Knock Knock Movie review where we tell only the truths.
Honestly I still can’t figure out if it was meant to be trash and satirical or is it a serious movie.
The questions it tries to ask are substantial and worth exploring in and of themselves. But the movie lacks the astute profoundness, and deep character works to make it interesting within the confines of this movie.
Overall, I would not say it is a failed attempt. But it is more like a movie that tried so hard to be something. But ended up being absolutely something else. It is worth a watch if you are a fan of Keanu or Ana. At least once but that is about it.

You decidedly put a new twirl on a subject that’s been written about for years. Noteworthy stuff, just amazing! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think, thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner as well. If you have a opportunity check out my web site. It’s a work in progress, but I assume that someday it will have nearly as good of subject matter as yours. kelly kosky
