Parasite Movie review will talk about some of the things that all those other reviews might have forgotten.
The Parasite is that movie that took the world by storm and by surprise winning all the accolades. Director Bong Joon Ho’s subsequent masterpiece Parasite includes stars like Kang-ho Song, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong.
The main story of the movie involves a middle-class struggling family and their climb, hustle to rise.
I can’t think of any worthy way of starting a Parasite movie review. As this movie is in all measures perfect. It is one of the best shot movies of 2019, the best directed, the best acted, the best everything else…
Talking about what it means and how to dissect the movie would probably take a whole essay. And would require a person to watch it just about a few times to get to half of what the filmmakers intended to convey.
Parasite Movie Review
The Parasite is one of those movies that restores your faith in movies and in the art form it takes.
Its excellence in many aspects of filmmaking is proof that visual entertainment is not all corrupted by the Chinese investors or the female body parts, or the high demand for blasts and explosions.
It is proof that you can watch a movie and enjoy it, for what it is. Appreciate how much work the filmmakers have put in it. Because you can easily see that they themselves are the biggest film lovers.
Despite the many numbers of Parasite movie review, none could’ve done it justice. In my petty attempt to make one.
Things that are absolutely necessary to talk about are the excellent use of physical and geolocations; The camera angles, and the writing with plot twists and turns, the music score.
The music that starts mild with just the notes of piano turns into bashing music as the stakes get higher and higher. It is definitely something that keeps up with all other perfect elements of the movie.
Nothing bad comes to mind about this movie. Whether here or on another Parasite movie review. I was so enthralled by everything that happened in the movie. That I could go on and on only about how well they utilized the camera angles, or just eloquently purposeful usage of physical and geo-locations for a figurative eternity.
I can’t help but give you an example. I didn’t want to. But at this point, I am sure many people have even watched it more than once. Thus, there is no more spoiling.
The raining scene is one that in short describes the movie. It is a social satire, yet understanding that from the beginning is difficult. But that raining scene is when it gives it away.
Well, actually it is the moments after it rains. For the rich people, raining was celebrated while the rather poor people disgraced it because their homes were almost flooded.
However, as a social satire, it doesn’t make either side villainous. Usually what you would encounter in Hollywood is that the less fortunate side is made to be a bit more unethical. This I thought I must mention in this Parasite Movie Review.
In Parasite, they don’t make either side total idiots. As you watch the movie you get to understand their actions and the meaning behind them.
I love movies where they won’t try to preach between good and evil, or the right versus wrong. They just show you how it is and what certain characters do certain things.
To Sum Up the Parasite Movie Review
It is a must-watch movie at least once in a lifetime. There is not a single thing I could say they didn’t do right in this Parasite Movie review.
The movie is virtually flawless. The flaws seem the ones that have been hidden so far behind the scenes that no one is able to actually see them.
Either way, it is one of the best movies of 2019 and is going to keep the title of the best movie for quite a while. Check out the movies category for more single movie reviews like the Eli Movie review.
